Things to do

The historic dredge in Eldorado is a popular local and tourist destination. Being situated near the Great Alpine Road also allows easy access to the Victorian Snowfields. The district is well-equipped for schooling, home to the Carraragarmungee and Everton Primary Schools and childcare services. For the bigger kids, the public Wangaratta High School is just a 20-minute drive by school bus, as are private schools Cathedral College and Galen Catholic College.
