Our diverse and exciting calendar of events keep the community of Wangaratta buzzing all year round. Whether you're one for events in sport, entertainment, food, wine or art and culture; there's something for everyone in Wangaratta and surrounds. 

Our Festival of Jazz and Blues will get you tapping your feet while our annual Outdoor Ball will have you dancing on your picnic rug with the family. The regional also attracts many well know bands and artists to the area.

For the food and wine lovers, the La Dolce Vita Festival and Weekend Fit for a King events celebrate the rich Italian heritage of the King Valley. Taste new releases, talk to the wine makers or indulge in some of Nonna’s cooking! Weekend fit for King, also in the King Valley, lays on a feast of things to see, do and taste each Kings Birthday weekend and each third weekend in November. 

Sport lovers can run the Wangaratta Marathon & Fun Run or take on the King Valley Challenge, an off road, multi-sport challenge consisting of running, kayaking and mountain bike riding.
