The district offers four primary schools in the townships of Moyhu, Edi Upper, Whitfield and Myrrhee. There is also a kindergarten which runs programs for 3 and 4 year olds, along with an occasional care program.
A number of recreation reserves with BBQ and playgrounds; tennis courts, a BMX track, lawn bowls and secret swimming holes will keep the family entertained. Local produce and general stores and cafes are dotted throughout the district, allowing you to buy homemade and fresh food direct from the source.
